Team Nature’s Path is central Virginia’s fastest growing cycling team and is always open for new members! Perhaps you're new to the sport and looking to meet new friends, develop techniques, improve your fitness, and perform meaningful volunteer work. Or maybe you're an experienced racer looking for teammates and a chance to push yourself to the next level. Whatever your personal goals may be, Team Natures Path is committed to helping you achieve them.
Our Mission is to promote bicycle racing at all levels in Virginia and to provide an open environment in which to learn about racing and improve performance, share our knowledge about the sport, and support an active lifestyle and our community.

What We Expect from You:
TNP offers unprecedented benefits for a club team. In order to qualify for these benefits, candidates must be sponsored by a current TNP team member, agree to adhere to the Code of Conduct / Rider Guidelines, adhere to the Anti-Doping Notice (below), pay annual dues ($25.00 individual, $35.00 family, $10 juniors), and demonstrate teamwork and respect. To qualify for the race reimbursement program, club members must participate in at least 8 USCA sanctioned Bar races, and volunteer at races sponsored by Team Nature’s Path or other local club events.
Anti-Doping Notice
While it is extremely rare for club-level athletes to be using banned performance-enhancing practices, it is important for every athlete regardless of the level at which they compete to be aware that as members of USAC, we are bound to comply with an anti-doping policy set forth by UCI, USA Cycling, USADA, or the official anti-doping authority of a foreign country where you are competing.
Current Team Member Sponsor Requirement:
We feel the success of our team is a result of the dedication and support of our team members. Regular participation from our members is not only requested, but expected. We are not interested in potential team members that only want a cool kit and do not plan on being a part of the "team." With this is mind, we limit our new members to individuals who have demonstrated an express desire to a current team member to join our club. The current team member must be willing to "sponsor" or vouch for the candidate.
If you are interested in joining our team, we suggest you request a current team member to sponsor you prior to filling out the online application. You can do so by attending one of our many weekly team rides from West Creek Parkway on Wednesday nights, or either one of our Saturday morning rides 3sports/Contes or the Spin Mafia ride. Ride details are located on the Rides page of this website.
